Medication Orders and Repeats
At our practice, your pet’s well-being is our priority and we are here to support you every step of the way.
If you have a pet with a long-term condition requiring ongoing medications, it is important we work closely together to ensure the best possible outcome of your pet’s health.
For your pet’s safety, we require your pet to undergo a clinical review with our vets once every half a year to confirm that their treatment plan is still appropriate for them before any additional medication repeats are provided.
What happens at a clinical review?
- Physical examination
- Response assessment (Blood tests)
- Dose adjustment
- Treatment plan modification (If required)
How do you request for a medication repeat?
You can email your request to us at [email protected] or call us at 8203 4390 to speak with one of our friendly team members. After receiving your request, we will advise you if a medical review is required.
If your pet requires a medical review, we will work with you to find a suitable time to schedule your pet for an appointment with our vets.
If your pet is currently within the six month window and not yet due for a review, we will organise for the medications to be delivered to our practice and contact you when they are ready to be collected.
How long does a medication order take to be prepared?
We ask that you allow for up to two working days (48 hours) for any requested medication to be ordered, delivered, and prepared for pick-up.
There are some medications that we have readily available in our practice and those can often be collected within 24 hours.
One of our friendly team members will inform you via phone, text, or email when your medication is ready for collection.
